Roger Turner
Roger Turner is the curator of instruments and artifacts at the Science History Institute in Philadelphia, USA. He specializes in nonfiction storytelling to help audiences understand the entanglements of science, technology, and the natural world. He has guided the Institute’s efforts to collect unusual objects that reveal plastics’ global history and environment impacts. Some of these objects have featured in recent exhibits like “How to Read a Plastic Bag,” and “Astroturf: Field of Contention.” Before coming to the Institute, Turner taught science and technology studies, environmental policy, and American history at the college level.
