Social Analysis of the Ethics of Plastics
This research aims to analyze the relationship between individuals and plastics, specifically single-use plastics. By understanding how different social groups use and dispose of plastics in their daily lives and how the media portrays them, we aim to provide insights into how people perceive and relate to plastic.
The research will also generate data to inform public policies that promote sustainable relationships with plastics. Despite the ubiquity of plastics, there is a lack of literature on the ethics of plastics.
Hence, we will explore the implications of the technoscience of plastics, including bioplastics, and their ethical framework.
